As Federal CTO, Lou leads ColorTokens’ technology roadmap for federal customers, ensuring solutions align with agency missions and evolving cyber threats. He works closely with federal CIOs and CTOs to ensure technologies meet stringent compliance requirements while advancing AI, cloud security, and Zero Trust microsegmentation.

As the former CISO at the U.S. Department of the Interior, his mission was to spearhead robust cybersecurity frameworks and foster a resilient digital environment. Since February 2022, Lou’s focus was on orchestrating the long-term Zero Trust strategy for the Department of the Interior. This encompassed defining key capabilities, crafting a detailed roadmap, and managing budget allocations for Zero Trust initiatives. He played a key role in unifying a department-wide integrated team, dedicated to the seamless implementation of Zero Trust principles. Their efforts were pivotal in safeguarding sensitive government data against evolving cyber threats.
